5. Self-centered

This approach has the characteristics of an egotist, someone who will constantly prioritize their own interests above those of the organization and/or its workers.

6. Incompetent

To be a leader in this manner, you must have little experience, talent, or training.

7. Loose Canon

This method requires someone who lacks self-control and discipline.

8. Uncaring

This method completely ignores or dismisses the needs, wants, and desires of others, particularly workers.

9. Isolationist

This method reduces or ignores the needs and well-being of everyone outside the group or workers who have direct responsibility.

Today, there are several styles of leadership. However, to avoid confusion, we have only described one variation!

10. Saboteur

This approach comprises purposeful acts designed to disrupt, impede, or otherwise cause the implementation of new ideas and improvements to fail or falter, or to oppose anything the leader does.

What are some of the consequences of these ineffective and sad leadership styles?

 According to a Price Waterhouse Coopers report from 2005, U.S. employers spent an average of 48 days and $3,270 filling vacancies. Another countrywide study revealed that 67% of working individuals were actively seeking another job, with another 34% planning to shift jobs within the next three years. According to the American Institute of Certified Accountants, 83% of member businesses viewed staff turnover as a barrier to corporate growth. Another poll indicated that 85% of managers felt workers left for better compensation or prospects, while 80% blamed bad management practices or toxic environments for their departure. Wow, there appears to be a major gap here.
